Gather Wine Bar in the Village of Arroyo Grande presents its First Annual Oktoberfest Celebration. Featuring great food prepared by Chef Tim Flickwir, local musicians and fantastic beer samplings from Figueroa Mountain Brewery, the night can be nothing less than a fun time out with friends both old and new.
"It is said, it takes a lot of great beer to make a good wine, so we thought that we should celebrate the harvest season and the liquid gold that fuels it by having an Oktoberfest celebration at Gather," said Kari Ziegler, owner of Gather Wine Bar. Partnering with Gather for the event is Figueroa Mountain Brewery, run by the Dietenhofer family of Buellton. The Dietenhofers have known for a long time that quality beer is an important part of their life and Bavarian heritage and therefor were a perfect fit for the wine bar's Oktoberfest event. “Our primary focus is to create the highest quality beers with the best ingredients and always push the envelope on creativity,” says Jaime Dietenhofer, co-founder and owner of FMB.
The evening cost is $25 and includes the German inspired Oktoberfest buffet and one Figueroa beer of choice - the good time to be had by all is complimentary. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at: http://gatherocktoberfest.eventbrite.com or by calling the wine bar at 805-474-4771
