Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) October 07, 2011
InkFest Live (IFL), one of America's largest tattoo expos, will be partying at the nation's capitol this November 18-20 for the first ever tattoo expo in D.C., and the entire event will be filmed in 3D for a tattoo documentary project. The event will provide the hyper-visual, dynamic backdrop for the first tattoo-themed documentary ever to be filmed in 3D.
Since the beginning of 2011, the IFL tour, which makes stops in Charlotte, Chicago, Raleigh and Washington D.C., has brought the loudest and most innovative tattoo and graffiti artists, DJs, custom cars and bikes, and A-list celebrities into an authentic urban environment for a weekend of non-stop art, tattooing and entertainment.
The D.C. stop marks the end of the tour and promises to be the biggest event yet, and the addition of the 3D-documentary that promises to etch the event in stone. As the first tattoo-themed work filmed.
In addition to the documentary team, other features of the event will include:
- Earth-shaking DJ scratch and B-Boy battles.
- A giant graffiti wall getting bombed by world-famous street-art pros.
- Non-stop human suspension shows.
- Rows of custom cars and bikes.
- Tons of live tattoo artists, Vendor booths and Apparel.
"InkFest Live is the undisputed future of tattoo expos, and the future is now," said Jose A. Martinez, creator and visionary for InkFest Live. "Typical tattoo events throughout the years have all been the same: a few tattoo artists and no clients. We've changed that: we have the best artists matched up with clients who are passionate about tattoos and the culture.
''We added amazing music and mind-blowing visuals like our graffiti wall, and the result is this perfect one-of-a-kind mix of adrenaline and artistic beauty. It's what tattoo expos are meant to be."
InkFest Live will be landing in Washington D.C. November 18-20 in 3D.
InkFest Live is only tattoo expo with an urban landscape, with the leading tattoo artists from around the world combined with graffiti demonstrations, live musical performances by today’s hottest recording artists, DJ battles, custom cars, custom bikes and the latest trends from the concrete jungle.
