Tea Embassy, the Austin-based, family-owned company specializing in teas and tea-related treasures from around the globe, has announced the availability of its 2011 holiday gift boxes.

This year’s trio of gift boxes offer holiday gift givers a range of options for tea lovers on their lists, including an Afternoon Tea Set gift box priced at $30, a Connoisseur’s Tea Set gift box priced at $50, and a Premium Afternoon Tea Set gift box priced at $80.

There’s even more variety available with the gift boxes than just those three levels, for the 2011 gift box availability is timed with the launch of a new feature on the Tea Embassy website, “What Tea Are You?” (http://teaembassy.com/find-your-cup-of-tea), which allows site visitors to determine what kind of tea experience they’re looking for, and then find the best options for each experience from the more than 200 tea blends that Tea Embassy offers.

The tea experiences at “What Tea Are You?” include:

Breakfast Alarm, helping tea drinkers welcome the new day;
Health Boost, helping tea drinkers who want to preserve or return to good health;
Sleepy Sip, for those who want to unwind with a cup of tea before bedtime;
Comforting Cup, for those who want to take a moment to relax during the day;
Afternoon Pick-Me-Up, for a gentle energy boost in the middle-of-the-day; and
Leave the Bean Behind, for those looking to make the switch from coffee to tea.

At any of the three gift box levels, customers can select from one of the six “What Tea Are You?” categories, choose the Holiday Blends category, opt for caffeine-free, just black teas, or just green teas, or they can pick the “Choose the Best Teas for Me!” category and let Tea Embassy’s team of tea experts select from their favorite blends.

“We’re excited to be launching the ‘What Tea Are You?’ feature on our website,” said Jonathan Sims, co-owner of Tea Embassy. “We believe it will give our customers more knowledge about tea’s versatility, and will introduce them to a wider variety of teas. And because our gift boxes are so important in introducing longtime as well as brand new tea lovers to our selection, we felt it was important to make the ‘What Tea Are You?’ categories available for this year’s gift boxes.”

This year’s gift box options include:

Afternoon Tea Set: Two packages of loose leaf tea (2 oz. each), one teaspoon, one package of loose tea bags, one package of Biscottea brand shortbread, and one tin of green tea mints, packaged together in a sturdy cardboard box with lid.
