Foundation now accepts all types of vehicles, vessels, and timeshares.

We depend on the support of individuals to help kids in need.

The Caring For Our Children Foundation, helping victimized kids and young parents in need since 2001, announces the expansion of their donation program to include cars and boats.

Founder and Treasurer, Melody Gibson says: “Since the first of October, working with Kars-R-Us (a fundraiser specializing in car donation programs) we've been able to accept cars and boats as part of our donation program. We started earlier this year with Timeshare donations, and after seeing the success of that we decided to include all kinds of vehicles and vessels.”

One of the primary missions of Caring For Our Children is to support under-funded organizations and projects providing aid to children that are distressed, endangered, missing, exploited or otherwise victimized. Gibson wants people to know, “We depend on the support of individuals to help kids in need. Donating a car or boat is an easy way to do that without putting a strain on your pocketbook.”

Each year the Board of Trustees selects programs and projects deserving of assistance through grants, goods, or hands-on help. The interests and experience of the Board Members, and their compassion for children and families, guide their actions and decisions in assisting those in need. Gibson says, “As a caring and sharing foundation, we encourage alliances, joint ventures and cooperation with other charities and businesses whose goal is to help the innocent and vulnerable with no voice of their own”.

The additional funding from car and boat donations will expand the number programs the Foundation will be able to support. Melody wants to remind supporters that: “The end of the year is just a short time away, and now is the time to donate if you want to get a 2011 tax deduction!”

“If you have a car or boat you no longer need, running or not, we’ll provide fast free pickup.” You can donate online at, or call toll free 888-433-6214”
