VIVOTEK USA, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel IP cameras, recently expanded its office facility by moving to San Jose to keep pace with significant growth.

VIVOTEK USA Inc., industry leader in megapixel and HD IP camera technology, has recently moved its Sunnyvale office to a larger location in San Jose. The move stems from the need for additional space to accommodate the rapid growth experienced since the establishment of VIVOTEK USA in 2008.

The new facility features 13,000 square feet of space and is 4 times larger than the previous location in Sunnyvale. The newly renovated and more spacious location allows VIVOTEK to carry 5x more inventory in order to meet increased market demand for VIVOTEK IP surveillance solutions. Other improvements include triple the office space for expanded technical and sales support, a more robust phone system to handle rising call volume, and a new access control and security system to enhance the security and safety of employees.

In addition, VIVOTEK is in the process of creating a new testing facility that will have the complete VIVOTEK camera lineup installed to demonstrate our newest technology to integrators as well as to ensure integration with industry leading NVR (Network Video Recorder) and VMS (Video Management System) software solutions. In the future, software partners will have direct access to the dedicated environment to test and evaluate integration for overall quality assurance.

“We are pleased with the move to the new location to better accommodate our expanding business,” said Harry Hu, President of VIVOTEK USA. “The new lab and testing facility shows VIVOTEK’s commitment and dedication in providing the industry with the resources to apply megapixel video solutions for mainstream surveillance applications.”

VIVOTEK’s cameras range in image resolution from VGA to HD to 3 megapixels, including models that provide many advanced features such as Supreme Night Visibility, exceptional 60 frames rate per second video recording, H.264 compression, removable IR-cut filter with built in IR illuminators, P-iris, wide temperature range capability, and much more.
