The Network Journal (TNJ), an award-winning business magazine catering to an audience of predominantly African-American professionals, corporate executives and small-business owners, announces the call for nominations for its 2012 “25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards.”

The Network Journal (TNJ), an award-winning business magazine catering to an audience of predominantly African-American professionals, corporate executives and small-business owners, announces the call for nominations for its 2012 “25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards.” The 2012 Awards marks the fourteenth anniversary of this highly anticipated New York City event.

This TNJ award honors African-American women whose professional achievements have significantly impacted an industry or profession, and who also have made an important contribution to their community. An ideal "TNJ25” candidate is a business owner, or a partner, president, CEO, board chair, or other senior-management executive with significant decision-making authority in the corporate, nonprofit (including academia and medicine), or government sector.

Winners will be featured in the March 2012 issue of The Network Journal magazine and honored at a luncheon held at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in March 2012. The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 28, 2011.
