The Suites Collection an operator of shared office suites in Chicago, has a new tenant, CakeStyle, a Chicago-based fashion startup, recently opened its showroom at Chicago’s Tree Studios, located at 4 East Ohio Street. Aiming to simplify the shopping process for busy, professional women, CakeStyle learns the fit and wardrobe needs of each customer and then its CakeStylists craft and ship a personalized collection of hip fashions and accessories so she can best express herself with effortless personal style, right to your door. The service is available to women anywhere, but the showroom will allow Chicago customers to meet with stylists for an in-person fitting.
The showroom is located in one of the original artist’s studios at Tree Studios and features a consultation area and a dressing room. Lee Dickson, Managing Partner of The Suites Collection, said, “This is an unusual step for Tree Studios which has focused on artists and art related businesses to date and requires a significantly longer term commitment from its tenants but this was such an intriguing idea that the decision was made to bend the rules for them. We hope this will be such a success that they will choose to keep their business with us.”
CakeStyle makes style a piece of cake by offering a creative solution for fashion-conscious women who don’t have time to shop for new clothes each season. The company, launched in July, is the brainchild of Sandbox Industries, a venture capital fund and business incubator located in Chicago. Contact is through the website, http://www.cakestyleme.com.
