National body recognises LexisNexis as the leading macro employer in London for learning, training and development

LexisNexis UK (http://www.lexisnexis.co.uk), a leading provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, today announced that it has been awarded the London Macro Employer Award 2011 at the National Training Awards (NTA), gaining recognition as a leader in learning and development across the FTSE 100.

The Awards are held by the Skills Funding Agency, part of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and celebrate those who have achieved outstanding organizational and individual success through investments and innovation in training, learning and development in the workplace. The award was based around its sales training course, ‘The LN Way of Selling.’

Commenting on the Awards, Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning Minister John Hayes said: “The National Training Award winners show that firms that invest in workforce skills gain real dividends. Not only are their employees more motivated because they are happier in their work, but they reap the benefits of productivity, profitability and competitiveness.”
