Award-winning Precept Advisory Group to Host Conference for Fiduciaries on 401(k) and Retirement Plans

Precept Advisory Group (http://www.preceptadvisory.com) announced today they are the host of the 2011 Los Angeles Fiduciary Summit on Thursday, October 20, 2011. The event for 401(k) and retirement plan sponsors, trustees, fiduciaries and retirement plan committee members will feature best practices from one of the nation’s top retirement plan advisor teams. It will also feature fiduciary topics including upcoming fee disclosure changes, plan and fee benchmarking best practices, socially responsible investment trends and maximizing overall plan performance.

The event features an esteemed panel including Don Barden from The Perfect Plan; Greg Lee, CFO of LIVESTRONG Lance Armstrong Foundation; as well as plan sponsor executives from PADI and Ceradyne who will be sharing their experiences in the retirement plan space.

The 2011 Los Angeles Fiduciary Summit is approved for three hours of CPE/CPA credit and two and a half hours of HRCI/SPHR/PHR/GPHR general credits.

The 2011 Los Angeles Fiduciary Summit is Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The $75 registration fee is waived for the first 25 plan sponsors that RSVP. The Summit is hosted by Linda K. Bright, vice president and managing director, and Doug Igel, managing consultant. Bright manages the Precept Advisory Group and is an expert in financial consulting to public, private and non-profit organizations. For the past 15 years, she has lent her expertise in total compensation design strategies and implementation as well fiduciary and plan oversight.

Bright is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) representative, holds a Certified Retirement Administrator designation, founding member of BlackRock's DC Leaders Circle and an active member of PSCA, WPBC and ASPPA. Bright earned her B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.        

Igel leads Precept's investment advisory and serves as a manager for the search group. His professional experience in financial services includes fund analysis, equity and foreign exchange trading to providing financial advice to individual investors.

Igel is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) representative, holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation with the Investment Management Consulting Association and the Certified Retirement Administrator (CRA) designation through InFRE. He is a select member of the DC Investment Council and active in PSCA, WPBC and ASPPA. Igel earned a B.S. in Business Administration & Finance from Colorado State University and a MBA from Regis University.
