To meet the demand of its growing online customer base, Door to Door Storage, Inc. has launched a mobile website as part of its ongoing goal to make it easy for customers to find storage and moving solutions. Mobile traffic to DoortoDoor.com has risen nearly 200% in the past 12 months.

The mobile website will help users more easily access Door to Door™ storage and moving online and includes features such as click-to-call and online quoting. The site is specifically created for small-screen mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, Droids and BlackBerrys. With just one click, users can quickly go to an online quote form, call customer care or visit the company’s main website.

“Over the next four years researchers predict that mobile data traffic will increase by more than 2600% (footnote 1),” said Tracey Kelly, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Door to Door. “Being proactive is a key to our success. We are very excited to launch this new mobile website that will allow our customers to keep their Door to Door solution only a ‘touch’ away.”

The new mobile site is a part of Door to Door’s ongoing efforts to help individuals and families across the country manage life transitions that can include job relocations, staging/selling a home, remodeling, military moving/storage, or going away to school.

It is also a response to the increasing number of consumers who show a preference for using mobile devices. According to a report from the Pew Research Center 83% of American adults use some type of mobile device and 35% use a Smartphone (footnote 2). And more than half of adults say they have used their device to retrieve information they need immediately (footnote 3).

The mobile website features five easily navigated tabs that provide immediate access to information about moving, storage, facility locations, frequently asked questions and general information about Door to Door.

“If you can access the Internet on your mobile device, you can quickly and easily access Door to Door’s new mobile website,” said Kelly.
