Eyemaginations, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a new narrative created in collaboration with Dr. Robert H. Osher on counseling cataract patients. Scheduled for release with Eyemaginations LUMA v1.8.5, this new content showcases the advances of modern cataract surgery and how it fosters an easier recovery with less impact on everyday life.

“At Eyemaginations, our primary goal is to arm the eyecare professional with the most effective, up-to-date tools that provide the appropriate combination of education and marketing to patients on essential topics,” said Jeff Peres, president and CEO of Eyemaginations. “We are excited to have this new collaboration with Dr. Osher as it enables practices to touch upon the more emotional elements of cataract surgery.”

Offering the most innovative form of patient education and marketing software available, LUMA allows doctors to present complex information to their patients in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner. This new content will further enhance this unique marketing tool for the eyecare community.

Dr. Osher indicated that “we cannot always cure the patient, but we can always comfort the patient” and this was his primary goal for the collaboration with Eyemaginations.

Eyemaginations indicates that the new Cataract Content will be available within LUMA v1.8.5 which is due to be launched this month. Interested practices can receive a demonstration at the 2011 Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting (AAO) in Orlando between October 22 and 25, at booth #2370.
