Leading website analytics and testing company adds to feature set with new tools for mobile versions of websites.

Overstat, Inc., whose software helps businesses make their websites more effective, has unveiled a new set of mobile features designed to enable its users to gather insight about visitor behavior on their mobile websites, and test how changes to their mobile web pages impact sales, lead generation, sign-ups and subscribers.

The new mobile features give companies with mobile websites the opportunity to apply practices that are widely-used to optimize leading websites to their own mobile pages.

The company’s core product features a rich set of analytics tools that allow customers to visualize the way in which visitors—both desktop and mobile—interact with websites, offering heat maps, top-click pins, a Form Fixer and more.

Along with analytics, customers use Overstat’s A/B testing suite to easily make changes to their web pages without the need for a programmer or designer. Overstat then delivers the variant page to a user-determined segment of website visitors, with the remainder of the site’s traffic seeing the original page. This testing process gives users immediate feedback on the impact that changes have on a website’s ability to convert visitors into customers.

This announcement comes one week after Overstat unveiled drag-and-drop editing and the Form Fixer, a website form analytics tool that offers information including amount of time being spent in each form field, form abandonment points and drop-off rates. These features help boost revenue opportunities with just a few minutes of a marketer’s time.

Overstat’s software installs in seconds with a single snippet of code that gets pasted onto a customer’s web pages and begins delivering data within minutes.
