Prior to joining SecondMarket, Sorof most recently served as Managing Director and Head of US Event Marketing at NYSE Euronext. Sorof will lead SecondMarket’s events program in both New York and San Francisco, and will create and produce exclusive SecondMarket events as well as manage SecondMarket participation in sponsored outside conferences.

At NYSE Euronext, Sorof was responsible for overseeing nearly 1,000 events annually including the daily Opening and Closing Bells, and supervised the commercialization of the NYSE Euronext event rental space. Sorof also drove NYSE’s in-house event marketing strategy, developed the NYSE events website and social media platform, and created an in-depth visibility program showcasing the exchange’s facilities.

Sorof previously worked as Vice President of Events at Citigroup for over five years and has also planned events for companies such as PepsiCo, Hitachi, JanSport, Levi Strauss & Co., and Microsoft. Sorof earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park.
