The marriage proposal campaign features 30-second commercials that will air on local broadcast and cable stations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth through the end of the year.
For the new campaign which targets couples looking to get engaged this holiday season, the company chose marriage proposal footage submitted by finalists in its recent ‘Share the Love’ video contest. Some of the highlighted marriage proposals range from a Super Mario theme which has become a viral sensation on YouTube with nearly 1 million views, to a serene proposal at the beach and one atop Mammoth Mountain in Northern California.
The TV spots have a genuine appeal and home-video effect designed to connect with the viewer in a more personal way. They showcase the moment the hopeful groom pops the question and then cut to the couple’s embrace after she says ‘yes.’ While each proposal varies in idea and location, the reactions from the brides-to-be make it a universal experience.
