OutSystems, provider of the industry leading Agile Platform application development environment, announced the appointment of Jeff Newlin to the position of Vice President and General Manager.
In his new role, Newlin will oversee OutSystems’ North American business, where he will drive the continued growth of subscription and service sales and help further expand the North American organization. He will work to develop strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and will be responsible for all U.S. customer-facing activities. As a member of the executive team, Newlin will have an active role in the overall strategy of the company.

Newlin comes to OutSystems with more than 20 years of experience in sales and executive management. Newlin has experience in creating and continually evolving sales and services organizations as well as strategic and tactical operational management. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Chief Revenue Officer at Silverpop, a provider of SaaS solutions for engagement marketing. During his 10 years at Silverpop, he helped lead the company from a startup to a profitable industry-leader with more than 1500 customers. Prior to Silverpop, Newlin held positions at Cybrant (acquired by Blue Martini, now Escalate), TenFold Corporation, Texas Instruments (acquired by Sterling Software), and KnowledgeWare (acquired by Sterling Software).
