North Star Destination Strategies out of Nashville, TN specializes in community marketing research and community branding. At the Nebraska Travel Conference in Omaha on October 18-20, North Star’s Director of Research will speak on tourism research topics including “Know Thyself: The Importance of Community Image and Reputation” and “Know Thy Customer: Market Segmentation for Destinations.” Gray will also host a roundtable discussion called “Return on Investment for Festivals/Events”.

The Nebraska Travel Conference is an annual event put on by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Division of Travel & Tourism. Travel and tourism in Nebraska represents the state’s third largest industry.
