Marks & Spencer (M&S) returns to France this week with the launch of http://www.marksandspencer.fr/ - its first international transactional website - serving customers across the country.

From today, customers throughout mainland France, Corsica and Monaco can shop online with M&S using the new French language website, which trades in Euros and offers local delivery prices.

The easy-to-use website offers over 10,000 high quality stylish M&S products. Customers can choose from this season’s latest fashions collections across womenswear, lingerie, menswear and kidswear, as well as a selection of homeware products.

Laura Wade-Gery, M&S’ Executive Director of Multi-channel, E-commerce, said: “This is our first international website and it’s absolutely right to be launching it here in France where we know there is an appetite for M&S products. Returning with an online offer means customers throughout the country can now shop across our product range at any time, from any location and in their own currency.“

A range of features makes it easy for customers to search, browse and buy products online. Catwalk style videos and rotating images show off the stylish, great quality clothing, enabling customers to see how clothes move and view products from every angle.

The website offers customers local delivery prices across France and the ability to track the status of their orders. Customers can choose from standard delivery, taking 3-5 working days at €4.95 or express delivery, taking 1-2 working days at €9.95.

Coming Soon
The new online capability is part of M&S’ ‘bricks & clicks’ strategy, as it returns to the French market with a combined store and e-commerce offer. Later this autumn, the retailer will open its new store in the heart of Paris on the Champs-Elysées offering a selection of womenswear, lingerie and a convenience offer of food. Following on from this, M&S will open further stores at strategic locations in the French capital.

M&S has also unveiled its new Facebook site, http://www.facebook.com/marksandspencerfrance/ designed to keep fans up to date with the latest M&S product news and offers.
