Author Mary Minjeur presents the second volume of her memorable series of poetry collections.

From author Mary Minjeur, who brought readers her first book of freestyle poems, Life is a Poem published in 2007, comes 'Life is a Journey'. This collection of poems is the second in a series that reflect on aging, spirituality, and other life experiences.

'Life is a Journey' is divided into several sections beginning with “Events To Try One’s Soul” followed by “Life’s Journeys and U-turns.” The author makes her stand on love be known in “Love Conquers All” and allows readers to indulge in “Precious Moments and Reflections.” She puts the spotlight on “The Beauty of the Earth and the Majesty of God” and reveals “The Sorrows of the Heart.” The author shares some of the “Tragedies” in her life and how “We Live by Faith.” This compilation ends with an engaging short story titled, “The Rescue of Sammy.”

Although 'Life is a Journey' is inspired by life experiences, it does not contain illicit themes, only thoughtful reflections that hopefully empathize with readers who are going through similar life situations. Filled with nostalgia, insight and the desire to preserve life’s fragile moments through verse, this second volume is a wonderful addition to Minjeur’s poetry collection series.
