The industry is building momentum, and it’s exciting for Node-H to participate in the premier industry body at such an important juncture.
Munich, Germany (PRWEB) October 17, 2011
Node-H CEO, Mike Cronin, will join the Executive Board of the Femto Forum for the year 2011 to 2012. The Femto Forum is a not-for-profit membership organisation founded in 2007 to enable and promote femtocells and femto technology worldwide. The Femto Forum was instrumental in driving the standardization effort which resulted in the 3GPP Home Node-B specifications first published in 2009.
The first standards-based end-to-end Femtocell system solutions are being deployed now. Node-H is a software vendor providing a full software solution for standards-based femtocells. The product is a complete femtocell software which has been interoperability tested within end-to-end solutions. Devices based upon Node-H software are being used in the initial standards-based deployments.
“I’m delighted to be able to contribute to the ongoing work of the Femto Forum”, says Mike Cronin, CEO of Node-H. “The industry is building momentum, and it’s exciting for Node-H to participate in the premier industry body at such an important juncture.”
“Node-H was founded partly in response to the standards work initiated by the Femto Forum” says Wolfgang Scheit, CTO of Node-H, “so it is gratifying that our startup-up company has matured to the point where it can help shape the future evolution of the industry.”
The membership of the Executive Board of the Femto Forum is described at http://femtoforum.org/fem2/aboutus.php?id=221.
