We’re exploring some innovative opportunities that will enable us to offer better products at a better price.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 13, 2011
Home decor company Teenlike.com, Inc. announced the temporary closing of their online store. The closing comes as significant changes are coming for the company. The announcement does not effect the design competition, where members can still submit their designs for the ongoing competition. Three winners have already been announced, including Elisa Garay of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brandon Dover of Apple Valley, California, and Budi Satria Kwan of Singapore, each winning a $500 cash prize, with more winners to be announced soon. Teenlike President and CEO Roland Ghetty explains the reasoning behind this decision.
“We’re currently revamping our store and changing our specifications, including our choice of fabric, and possible price changes,” explained Ghetty. “We’re exploring some innovative opportunities that will enable us to offer better products at a better price.” The company plans to produce fire-resistant fabric for their bedding products, in addition to producing fire-resistant rugs, in an effort to create a safer home environment. The possibility of lowering prices will be an added bonus from a company offering such unique home decor products. “We’re working diligently to get our Shop up and running again, we want to get the ball rolling very quickly,” says Ghetty.
Teenlike says they will reveal more winners soon, but the success of the first winners’ designs are key to getting the home decor company’s online store going. Teenlike’s president believes that revamping the online store will give the company’s community a boost. “The designers want to know they made an impact, they want to see their designs come to life on products for the teen room,” says Ghetty. “And we want to deliver that.” Details will be announced at a later date.
Teenlike is an ongoing, online home decor design competition, where winning designs are printed on home decor products, including bedding and rugs.
