Review Display Systems Ltd has recently introduced the new D3003-Sx series Mini-ITX board range from Fujitsu. Aimed at industrial applications, these new e-Pntario platform boards are based around the new fusion AMD A55E controller Hub and the AMD T44R or T56N processors.

The compact (170mm x 170mm) D3003-S3 has been designed for challenging applications that require Dual-Core performance with a 24-bit dual channel LVDS interface for driving large display panels such as digital signage type applications.

The extended–lifetime boards are capable of working in operating temperatures of zero to sixty degrees centigrade making them ideal for automation, medical and kiosk applications.

Additional main board features include, Dual GbE LAN, serial ATA III RAID onboard and a mSATA socket for Flash Storage. The mSATA flash socket offers users increased data transfer rates speeding up application run times. The board also features 8-bit GPIO onboard, 6 USB ports and support for up to 8GB DDR3 RAM.

An on-board DC to DC converter accepts power from a single 19-24 Vdc source. Several other special industrial features are also on-board including a watchdog and the system management controller which monitors and adjusts temperature levels and cooling fans regardless of operating system.
