We are delighted that Palmers selected Further and we believe this innovative shared-revenue strategy and close working relationship will prove to be a great success for both parties.

Family-run independent, Palmers Department Stores, have teamed up with the region's leading eCommerce marketing agency, Further Search Marketing, to form a rare online partnership in which Further and Palmers will share revenues as their online sales grow.

While Palmers have been operating in ecommerce for a three years, the company see the new partnership with Norwich-based Further as an opportunity to become a nationally-recognised ecommerce retailer.

Having created the new Palmers Stores site (http://www.palmerstores.com) and created a custom ecommerce marketing strategy for Palmers, Further will work closely with the client to maximise sales – even to the extent of helping the client to decide which product lines should or should not be promoted.

In addition to the bedroom, bathroom, cookery and housewares items you’d expect to find, celebrity endorsed ranges are already proving to be popular, especially bedlinens by Kylie Minogue and Kirstie Allsopp. Additional departments will continue to be added the site during the next 12 months by Palmers new eCommerce Manager, Emma Sturrock and her team.

As Further MD John Thew commented “now that the site is developed and live, we will be working on ongoing SEO and PPC campaigns – as well as testing and honing the site’s conversion rate - to increase sales. We are delighted that Palmers selected Further and we believe this innovative shared-revenue strategy and close working relationship will prove to be a great success for both parties.”

The launch of the new Palmers eCommerce site comes at an an exciting time for Further, as the company continues to win new brands and gains accolades for its performance with existing clients. Further has just been crowned as the UK's 'Best eCommerce Marketing Agency' at the national 'eCommerce Excellence Awards 2011' and has gained two separate nominations at the UK Search Awards 2011 which is to be announced in November.
