Foreseeing what's coming, telling our clients what they need to know and not what they want to hear, and being ethical and transparent have been crucial to our growth.

A stagnant economy has not stopped a South Florida internet marketing company from increasing its revenue every year since its founding in late 2007. In the first nine months of this year alone, gross revenue increased 89% over the same period last year.
Optimum7, an internet marketing and technology consulting company, opened for business nearly four years ago with only 2 employees and 2 clients in a small office in Miami. "This year alone we have hired several internet marketing specialists, a web designer, a web programmer, a social media/PR specialist and several interns from local universities," says Arthur Cooper, CEO of Optimum7.
The company's success can be attributed to the growing recognition of the power of the internet and particularly the importance of search engines and social media as the “go-to” destinations for people seeking products and services. In addition, businesses are cutting budgets for less efficient traditional outbound marketing approaches such as TV, Radio, Print Ads, Telemarketing et al.
According to the PEW Internet and American Life Project research survey, 72% of all Americans use online search engines, a figure that's grown from 52% in 2002. Consequently, businesses have found the need to establish an online presence to keep up with consumer behavior.
"Internet marketing is targeted and allows you to track results closely," says Duran Inci, COO of Optimum7. "These benefits allow a higher return on investment because you're targeting exactly who's looking for you and you can make campaign adjustments based on real data."
With the rapid growth of Google, Facebook and other social networks, it's difficult to ignore the growing relevance of the internet industry.
"The keys to our growth haven't just relied on a growing industry and the need for businesses to use their marketing dollars more efficiently. It's also depended on our growth management practices," Cooper says."Foreseeing what's coming, telling our clients what they need to know and not what they want to hear, and being ethical and transparent have been crucial to our growth."
Optimum7 is also in the process of buying new office space that is three times bigger than their current location in preparation for future growth. They plan to hire more employees within the upcoming year. "We'll be hiring programmers, marketers, copywriters, and Web designers" Inci says. "There are many people that claim that technology kills jobs, but in our case, it's actually helping us create them."
