Denver-based yoga clothing company, be present, will be donating a portion of its October sales to the Detroit-based Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. In light of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, be present will be reserving a portion of sales from pink tops and pants to donate.

The Karmanos Cancer Institute researches and treats all types of cancer. It has been designated by the National Cancer Institute as one of the best in the United States. Based in midtown Detroit, Karmanos is one of 40 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States. The hospital cares for more than 6,000 new patients annually and conducts more than 700 cancer-specific research programs and clinical trials. Through the month of October, be present will donate a portion of sales from pink items to the Karmanos Institute.
