Laser-Assisted Breast Surgery provides Longer-Lasting Support

Dr. David Stoker, a plastic surgeon who regularly performs breast augmentation in Los Angeles, has found that laser-assisted breast lifts with breast augmentation result in longer-lasting perkiness after surgery and improved upper-breast fullness.

Experienced plastic surgeon Dr. David Stoker is now using one of the latest innovations, the Laser Bra™. Used for breast augmentation combined with a lift, breast lift, and breast reduction, it is providing longer-lasting results than traditional procedures, creating more attractive breast shapes, contours, and upper-breast fullness, according to Dr. Stoker.

"I regularly perform breast reduction, breast lift, and a lift in conjunction with breast augmentation in Los Angeles using the Laser Bra, and in my experience, this approach to breast surgery produces longer-lasting results than traditional methods," says Dr. Stoker. "It works by creating an internal, natural bra, which is secured to the chest wall. Although this 'bra' is not visible, it holds up the breast tissue, keeping it in place for beautifully shaped, natural-looking results."

Laser technology has created an entirely new market for cosmetic enhancement, with procedures like noninvasive laser lipolysis becoming viable options for those who aren't interested in traditional Los Angeles liposuction treatments. In addition, laser technology is making new techniques, like the Laser Bra, possible.

Providing more detail on this procedure, Dr. Stoker explains, "The Laser Bra works by creating an internal "bra" out of the patient's own tissue that is sutured internally on the underside of the breast, forming a support structure much like a normal bra. Before the tissue can be sutured, I treat it with a CO2 laser, which removes the epidermis, or the outermost layer of skin. That is where the laser is particularly advantageous."

Because the Laser Bra creates support under the breast, the breast appears fuller in the upper portions even without a bra. The Laser Bra for breast lift can also keep the breast supported, which means that the more youthful position is likely to last longer.

Dr. Stoker currently is one of the few surgeons who utilize this technology. He has participated in a great deal of clinical research surrounding laser-assisted breast surgery and his expertise in cosmetic surgery has made him a sought-after plastic surgeon.

"I try to offer the most cutting-edge techniques and technology to my patients," says Dr. Stoker. "Laser Bra surgery is just one of the many innovative procedures available to my patients."
