Perplexus Rookie, the new entry-level version of the break-out hit Perplexus, has been named a Gold 2011 National Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA) winner.

The NAPPA Gold Award is the latest in a series of accolades won by Perplexus Rookie this fall which has also included a Disney Family Fun Top Toy Award and a Toy Insider Hot 20 award earlier this month.

NAPPA’s independent expert judges evaluated hundreds of submissions for their innovation, entertainment and education values and quality. 75 products were selected to receive the esteemed Gold Award while 93 received Honors and 13 were chosen as “Rising Stars.”

Perplexus from PlaSmart Inc. is the world’s first 3-dimensional marble maze game. Players manoeuvre a small marble around challenging barriers inside a large-sized transparent sphere.
