Arlington, TX (PRWEB) October 14, 2011
System ID Warehouse, the Barcode People, presents its second annual Super Barcode Training Camp on Friday, October 21 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with presentation tracks covering Field Service, Work in Process/Inventory Control, and Voice Picking.
Attendees can register online now at http://www.systemid.com/2ndSuperBarcodeTrainingCamp/.
The training camp will cover field service software that allows technicians direct mobile access to work order information, inventory stock levels, customer history, invoicing, and more. The work in process (WIP)/inventory control presentation will educate attendees on how WIP systems can better facilitate inventory levels, production costs, and production time, in addition to other benefits. Voice picking is one of the fastest growing technologies in warehousing. Voice picking frees both hands for picking, reduces data entry errors, minimizes training, and increases productivity.
“System ID’s Annual Barcode Training Camp is designed to educate our customers on topics ranging from the basics of barcoding to more advanced automation solutions,” said Jay Schofield, Director of Product Management at System ID. “We gather the best-in-class barcode manufacturers and cutting edge software providers (ISV’s), along with System ID’s 26 years of experience to deliver the barcode industry’s educational event of the year.”
Exhibitors and sponsors include: Motorola (Gold Sponsor), Zebra (Gold), Wasp Barcode (Silver Sponsor), Datalogic (Silver), Intermec, Honeywell, LXE, Datamax-O'Neil, Code Corp, Cognex, Flow Software, Softechnologies, Vocollect, 10Zig, ELO, Brother and Epson.
