Conference will Connect Select Innovative Companies with Higher Education Decision Makers

uBoost, the nation’s premiere online student performance recognition and rewards platform, announced today its participation in the first ever Start-Up Alley at the 2011 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference. This new conference addition will focus on new innovative technology companies within higher education.

uBoost recently expanded its market focus to include Higher Education learning institutions and learning platforms making this the perfect venue to meet with potential customers to discuss how uBoost’s online student motivation tools can be best used to increase retention and persistence.

uBoost’s unique set of motivation tools are integrated directly into the learning institutions’ student user interface so that positive reinforcement for critical activities correlated to retention can be recognized immediately in ways that are relevant to the student. Onscreen alerts, text messages, e-mails, leaderboard status and rewards sustain motivation throughout students’ journey to graduation.

“It’s a quite an honor to be selected to participate in the largest higher education technology conference, hosted by EDUCAUSE,” says John Bower, CEO of uBoost. “We look forward to speaking with higher education institutions and their learning platform providers about ways uBoost can support their retention programs through increased student motivation and campus connections.”
