Las Vegas has hundreds of hotels, but only a handful of them really stand out. The editors of Las Vegas Direct recently presented their Top 10 Best Las Vegas Hotel List.
In selecting the hotels for the list, the editors considered the opinions of other critics, reporters, travel writers and read through hundreds of both kindly and unkindly hotel reviews by members of the public. Several months were spent going over all the pluses and minuses of each hotel. To all of this they added their own personal experiences and evaluations. After a lot of discussion and arguing, they came up with the Las Vegas Direct Hotel Top Ten List.
The winning hotel this year was Venetian. With several new hotels recently built, such as ARIA and Cosmopolitan, which both made the top 10 list too, the competition for top spots was definitely intense. The Venetian was described as “stunning" with the entire hotel giving an elegant Italian ambiance as would be found in the city of Venice.
Other winners included Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, ARIA, MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Cosmopolitan, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, and Circus Circus. Circus. Putting the Circus Circus on the Top 10 List caused more argument and debate than any other hotel listed. The reason being, it is certainly not the world’s best hotel, unless you are a kid or a parent looking for family fun offering great value too. Then it deserves to be on the Top 10 List.
