Blackman Kallick and Fifth Third Bank to present on how to maximize what you receive for your retirement while maintaining family harmony.

Blackman Kallick, LLP, the Chicago-based audit, tax, and consulting firm, will co-host a private briefing on Business Exit Planning, at The DuPage Club in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois on Wednesday, November 9th.

Attendees will learn what they need to consider in order to determine a retirement plan and identify a transition strategy that will best meet their goals, later in life.

Among the questions to be discussed are:

  • How much liquid capital do I need to become financially independent (work-optional)?
  • How do I design a succession plan and put it into place?
  • What should I be doing now to give myself a secure income plan after my exit from my business?
  • What should I be doing now to maximize the after-tax amount I receive from the sale of my business?

“Planning in advance will help owners maximize their financial return, minimize their tax liability and minimize the emotional toll on their family when they transfer their business,” according to Patrick McNally, co-presenter and Partner in Charge of Corporate Finance Consulting at Blackman Kallick.

The session is sponsored by Blackman Kallick and Fifth Third Private Bank.
