Danbro, the UK's most reputable accountancy and payroll provider for contractors, has been shortlisted for another prestigious business award.
The umbrella company has been nominated as finalists for 'Independent firm of the year' at the 2011 British Accountancy Awards, previously known as the Accountancy Age Awards, who announced that they had received a record number of applications from contractor umbrella throughout the country.
The company face stiff competition from the other umbrella companies in their category: Hurst, Lamont Pridmore, Thoburn & Chapman and Woods Squared. The judging panel is comprised of some of the most respected and key figures within the accountancy industry.
Danbro’s Managing Director Damian Broughton says 2011 is proving to be a year to remember for the Blackpool-based firm:
“So far 2011 has proven to be an extremely successful year for Danbro. We were crowned winners of ‘Business of the year’ and ‘Employer of the year’ at the BIBA awards in June, we were recently finalists for the ‘Outstanding Business Performance’ award at the North West Finance Awards and now this.

The winners will be announced at a fantastic evening of celebration at Old Billingsgate Market in London on Wednesday 30th November.
