Kirkland, WA (PRWEB) October 18, 2011
OrthoNeuro Technologies, Inc. (http://www.ortho-neuro.com), a technology company that designs and integrates products and services focused on technique skills development to increase proficiency in the chiropractic community, is pleased to announce that Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) at the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) will be implementing the Dynadjust Spinal Manipulation Training System into the technique curriculum for chiropractic students.
Dr. John Scaringe, President at SCU remarked, "Student practice sessions using kinetic devices and performance feedback are extremely useful tools to assist with complex motor skill development like the chiropractic adjustment. As a former educator and researcher of manual therapy techniques, I am very pleased that LACC/SCU faculty have embraced the Dynadjust Training System to augment our evidence-based chiropractic procedures curriculum."
“The decision to implement the Dynadjust Spinal Manipulation Training System was a decision made by Dr. David Sikorski, Chair of the Principles and Practice department, the faculty in his department, and Dr. Mike Sackett, the LACC Dean,” said Dr. Todd Knudsen, VP for Academic Affairs at SCU. “The decision was made easy based on the research that Jay Triano has done on the instrument and technology. Dr. Triano’s research strongly suggests that this device improves student control and skill of the adjustment.”
“Universities such as SCU are leading the way in implementing new technologies in order to provide the best learning environments, tools and techniques for their students. This demonstrates the commitment to their students in providing chiropractic training programs and leadership that are best of class,” said Dave Despard, CEO of OrthoNeuro Technologies.
