Kaya Skin Clinic (http://www.kayaskinclinic.me), the largest international skincare clinic chain in the Middle East, announced its support and commitment to help spread Breast Cancer Awareness in the region by launching a unique customer engagement initiative this October.

The unique program is termed Kaya Pink Impressions and the initiative involves getting women to pledge their support in spreading awareness about Breast Cancer across various mediums. Kaya Skin Clinic aims to reach a target of 25,000 pledges to help spread the message on Breast Cancer.

The initiative was undertaken by Kaya Skin Clinic (http://www.kayaskinclinic.me) since 80% of their clientele are women across their 17 clinics. And the initiative ties in well with their motto of transforming lives. Within the mandate of the initiative, in the Kaya clinics, women are required to put two finger print impressions on a designated board in clinics. In return, the customers receive a booklet on information about Breast Cancer self examination, coupled with a 20% discount on Aqua Radiance packages.

In his comments on the new initiative, Vikas Agarwal, Head - Marketing at Kaya Skin Clinic, said: “Breast Cancer is a serious cause for concern across the globe; and building awareness on Breast Cancer is essential! Since 80% of our clientele are women across the region, this is a perfect initiative to show our support and help spread awareness about the same”

He added: “Apart from the website and direct messages, Kaya is also displaying danglers, tent cards, leaflets, online web banners, social media engagements and utilizing the digital space to drive the initiative. We hope to achieve our target of 25,000 customers; and as a token of our appreciation for the pledge, we’re giving women a 25% discount on Aqua Radiance Packages”.

Since fingers are used for self-examining Breast Cancer, it forms the central core theme of the campaign, with pink being the colour of Breast Cancer Awareness Drive. Kaya also plans to support the BurJuman’s Breast Cancer Awareness programme – Safe & Sound campaign. Registration for the programme can be done at Kaya Skin Clinics.

The highly-interactive initiative will run both in-clinic and on the internet. It will also be very active on the social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

Breast cancer can happen to any woman. The top risk factors are “being a woman” and “getting older”. Remember, three important steps can help beat breast cancer.

1. Annual mammography from age 40 onwards
2. Clinical breast exams by doctor every 3 years starting from age 20
3. Monthly breast self-examination

All services at Kaya Skin Clinic are approved by US FDA, which conform to the highest international quality standards and suited for all skin types, in line with its vision to deliver world-class hygiene services and skincare solutions.
