Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy (CBAY) transitioned to TherapySource, a new software system, this week to help streamline scheduling, documentation, billing and reporting.
Utilizing TherapySource, CBAY aims to increase the accuracy of documentation and billing, streamline communication between office and clinical staff and maximize time with patients.
CBAY also hopes to significantly reduce the amount of paper used in their facilities with the wireless point-of-care system. Physical Therapists will be using wireless laptops that will allow them to roam freely throughout the clinics, documenting patient information throughout treatment sessions. This system will also improve documentation of patient progress with easy-to-reference goals and patient history information.
In addition to the new documentation system, CBAY is also implementing automated phone calls to patients to help them remember their appointment dates and times. The system will allow patients to confirm appointments or be connected to an operator to reschedule.
