Xsigo Systems, Inc., the leader in virtualized data center infrastructure, today announced a number of senior appointments in Europe as the latest stage in its growth strategy. Specifically, the new hires will cover the following territories: Ulrich Barnewitz: DACH and Eastern Europe; Nick Dunn: UK and Ireland; Koen Van den Berg: Benelux; and Johan Hultgren: Nordic region. They will all hold the role of regional manager for their countries and be tasked with the local development of Xsigo’s presence and market share.
“Ulrich, Nick, Johan and Koen all know their regional markets inside out and are familiar with the challenges our customers face as they migrate to flexible computing infrastructures,” said Mark Hardy, director of EMEA at Xsigo. “Xsigo’s growing market adoption makes this a perfect time to expand our reach further across Europe. With the addition of these experts to our team we look forward to continued success in our EMEA expansion.”
Hultgren comes to Xsigo from Brocade, where he was Regional Channel Manager for Nordics and the Baltics. He also spent five years at Nortel.
