Centennial, Colorado (PRWEB) October 19, 2011
DeepWell Archival Services, Inc., a medical image storage company focused on delivering vendor neutral archive (VNA) technology as a cloud based service, announced today that it has consummated an agreement with San Diego, CA based medical technology integration company, Edge Tech Solutions, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement Edge Tech Solutions will resell DeepWell’s cloud based archive service for diagnostic imaging studies.
Edge Tech Solutions, an integration and support based medical technology company, provides IT Services and Solutions to organizations engaged in the medical imaging industry. These services include PACS integration and management.
“We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to partner with a vertically focused IT integration company, like Edge Tech Solutions, in the medical imaging archive space”, said Brian Sobnosky, CEO of DeepWell. Sobnosky added, “The relationship with Edge Tech gives DeepWell a strategic partner in the massive Southern California diagnostic imaging market, for our VNA centric managed services offering. We are looking forward to supporting the Edge Tech team in their efforts to capture significant market share in the medical imaging archive space.”
“We are looking forward to working with DeepWell as they continue to enhance their cloud based services offerings, using the Telepaxx software and storage methodologies, throughout the U.S. and especially here in the Southern California market”, said Ricardo Cabrera, President of Edge Tech Solutions. Cabrera added, “We are very excited about the opportunity to partner with DeepWell. Their ‘one time fee per diagnostic study, for the life of the study’ pricing model has been a real eye opener for our medical imaging clients. After the initial “I can’t believe you can do it that cheap” reaction, our clients ask about the technology back end. They are blown away to find out that the technology is responsible for the safe, secure archival of over 1.4 billion images worldwide, and that it’s been around for over 14 years. We couldn’t be more excited about the relationship with DeepWell.”
