As a founding member of the Diagnosis Error in Medicine Conference, we are pleased to be participating again this year. Our mission is to provide a best-in-class tool to assist physicians in their decision making that is affordable and achievable.

Isabel Healthcare announces that it will be exhibiting its Isabel diagnosis decision support application at the 2011 Diagnostic Errors in Medicine (DEM 2011) Conference & Exhibition on October, 24-26th, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois. This year, hundreds of clinicians, research scientists, safety officers and risk managers convene with the goal to improve patient safety by reducing the likelihood of diagnostic error in medicine.
Isabel Healthcare will demonstrate its latest release of its Isabel diagnosis and clinical knowledge management tool, which integrates clinical content from the British Medical Group’s Best Practice. Best Practice is powered by the BMJ Groups’ Clinical Evidence and is the only reference content provided by a medical association. The addition of the Best Practice content not only allows clinicians to get diagnosis decision support, but also answer questions across the care encounter about diagnosis, testing, treatment, and follow up without ever leaving their workflow. Isabel is the only tool available that provides diagnosis decision support combined with world-class reference content mitigating risk throughout the care process.
“As a founding member of the Diagnosis Error in Medicine Conference, we are pleased to be participating again this year. Our aligned missions of improving the diagnosis process not only reduces the risk of error or delay, but gets the patient on the right treatment as soon as possible which leads to more efficient care, lower costs and better outcomes,” said Don Bauman, Isabel Healthcare CEO. “Our mission is to provide a best-in-class tool to assist physicians in their decision making that is affordable and achievable.”
