Dean Donovan Named CEO of SearchForce

Veteran executive to lead new initiatives at industry-leading search marketing software company.

SearchForce, the industry’s leading SEM and bid optimization software company announced that William “Dean” Donovan has been appointed as the company’s new CEO.

Donovan joins SearchForce having served as Director at Bain & Company, Chief Operating Officer of Nimblefish and as a founder of the low cost airline Volaris.

According to Rohit D’Souza, Chairman of the SearchForce Board, “With our business growing rapidly, we’ve been looking for a CEO with proven leadership experience.

“Dean has an extensive background in leading teams of talented marketing and creative professionals, and is an ideal choice to lead SearchForce as we continue to grow and plan new initiatives to improve our successful platform,” D’Souza added.

At Nimblefish, Dean was responsible for helping the company pioneer the use of variable creative content – both online and in print. During his time at Bain & Company, a leading consulting firm, Dean ran the firm’s African business, the Airline and Auto practices and advised Fortune 1000 companies on business strategies, mergers, and acquisitions.

Dean graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UC, Berkeley, where he studied Economics and Rhetoric. He received an MBA from the Wharton School in 1990.
