Revenge, they say, is a dish best served cold but what happens if it gets served a little bit too early or too late? In Gweneth Ferdinand’s Misinformed, an eye for an eye is what Kerry had in mind when she seeks Tobi, the woman who gave her away at birth 21 years ago.
When the chance to relocate to Philadelphia presented itself to Kerry, she grabs the opportunity right away. Not even Sadis, Kerry’s best friend, can stop her. No one knows the exact reason for her relocation. Once she settles in the city of Philly and meets Tobi, she schemes her way into getting hired at Tobi’s modeling firm and plans to later destroy her in the process.
“Kerry was still not sure what just happened. She felt she might be walking into difficulties and uncertain negotiations. She had doubts about working for Tobi, but she did get the job and somehow she had to find a way to make it work for her. Although things turned out well today, she was even more so strongly inclined to go through with the plans and would stop at nothing to destroy the woman who gave her away twenty-one years ago. She was determined to revenge.”
Just when she started playing dirty and getting down to business, she was faced with a shocker. An intriguing novel of family saga, Ferdinand’s Misinformed is definitely a page turner that will introduce readers to a world filled with mystery, deceit, and thirst for vengeance.
