At one point or another, everyone suffers a trying moment in which his or her spirit is tested. A death of a loved one, financial crisis, all sorts of failures and calamities bring about anguish, sadness, and depression that could permanently impair one’s body, mind, and will to live.
In the midst of such trying times, author Fatimah Abdullah brings comfort and hope for the impaired soul through her book of uplifting poetry, Thoughts along the Way. This is a book of poetic thoughts that talks about the challenges of life and the overcoming of them. The importance of spirituality is vividly woven throughout the book as the reader is reminded that hope, encouragement, and love are not just words, but they are the essential tools needed for survival when life takes those unexpected turns.
This book will be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY on November 2-5, 2011.
