LexisNexis UK (http://www.lexisnexis.co.uk), a leading provider of content and technology solutions, today announced the U.K. premiere of ‘Not My Life’, a documentary filmed on five continents over four years that illustrates the multibillion pound global industry in human trafficking and slavery in which children are the main commodity. The premiere of ‘Not My Life’ is sponsored by LexisNexis, The CNN Freedom Project and Worldwide Documentaries.
The premiere will be held at the Curzon Mayfair in London on Thursday, 20 October. A short panel discussion will take place after the screening. The panelists include the film’s award-winning director Robert Bilheimer and UN Goodwill Ambassador and Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino. The discussion will be chaired by CNN’s Becky Anderson.

As well as premiering this important documentary, ‘The Human Trafficking Handbook’ will also be launched at the event. Edited by Parosha Chandran and written by acknowledged specialists in the field, this LexisNexis publication discusses trafficking and modern day slavery in the U.K.
