PayLeap today announced that it has appointed Keith Bernauer as Vice President of Marketing. Keith will be responsible for establishing, executing and managing the overall strategic marketing vision for the company and will report to Rod Katzfey, COO of PayLeap.

Keith was formerly a Vice President in Product Management for Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS), helping launch and manage First Data products for the joint venture. Prior to that, he was responsible for Internet and Intranet Marketing for BA Merchant Services, helping align, communicate, and brand NPC products into Bank of America. He began his career in the merchant acquiring industry at Financial Alliance in 1996, which was acquired by National Processing Company (NPC) in 1998.
