It’s a blessing to have this opportunity to help those have a place to stay while their loved ones are hospitalized.

On Saturday, November 5th, 2011, local Real Estate leader, RE/MAX Southern is joining forces with their Southern family of companies to host a community yard sale at their Destin office at 34894 Emerald Coast Pkwy from 7am – 1pm. All proceeds from this event will go to the Ronald McDonald House. As a first year goal, they hope to raise $2,000 for this incredible organization whose mission is “to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.”

While this is the first year in sponsoring the Yard Sale, RE/MAX Southern has long been active in local charities, particularly those helping children as a “100% Children's Miracle Network Brokerage.” Through this affiliation, every single real estate agent donates a portion of their commission to the Children's Miracle Network. Since 1992 when RE/MAX became the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children's Miracle Network, RE/MAX Associates around the country have raised more than $45.5 million for the charity.

Giving back to the community is something Brokers Kerry Veach and Brad Shoults are very proud of. “Our Realtors® are givers. We have been a big supporter of Children’s Miracle Network and Sacred Heart Hospital over the past 20 years. This past year we had three of our employee’s and agents use the Ronald McDonald House and we decided to add it to our cause. It’s a blessing to have this opportunity to help those have a place to stay while their loved ones are hospitalized” said Kerry Veach.

RE/MAX Southern is part of the Southern Management Group, owned and operated by two sets of brothers, Brad and Mike Shoults with Kerry and Kevin Veach. In business since 1995, and together since 2002, these local leaders have grown their businesses along Florida’s Panhandle to represent over 1,300 short and long term rentals. Southern properties and associations can be found in these Northwest Florida communities: Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mexico Beach, Navarre Beach, Panama City Beach, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Port St. Joe, South Walton and WindMark Beach.
