Wild Adventures Theme Park (WA) announces a variety of renowned entertainers for its 2012 Family Concert Series. In 2012, the region’s largest outdoor amphitheater welcomes musical artists from the genres of country, Christian, R&B, and rock including:
- Thompson Square
- World Classic Rockers
- Sanctus Real
- Charlie Wilson and Chrisette Michele

These are just the first of 20 concerts for 2012, all of which are included with your 2012 Season Pass.”
2012 Family Concert Series Artist Highlights
Country music dynamic duo, Thompson Square, ruled country music radio in 2010 with their hit, “Are you Gonna Kiss Me or Not” which resided at the top of Billboard music charts for weeks. Most recently, the rising stars earned their first American Music Award nomination for the Sprint “New Artist of the Year” Award.
Grammy-nominated Christian rock band, Skillet, returns to WA by popular demand after delivering a high-powered, explosive musical production at the park in 2011. The alternative band’s album, “Awake” was named the Top Christian Album at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. Some popular hits by Skillet are “Awake and Alive,” “Comatose,” “Collide,” and “Whispers in the Dark.” Classic rock all-star band, World Classic Rockers, also returns to WA in 2012 compiled of some of the most talented musicians, singers, and songwriters of all time.
WA presents more powerful bands in 2012 with NeedToBreathe, Newsboys, Sanctus Real, and Kutless. The young rock group, NeedToBreathe released its fourth album, “The Reckoning” in September of this year which peaked at No. 2 on iTunes the day of its release. Some of the band’s popular hits are “Something Beautiful,” “Washed by the Water,” and “Lay em’ Down.” Christian pop rock group, Newsboys, has appealed to multiple generations of Christian music lovers over the last two decades, charted 25 No. 1 pop hits, and sold six million records. Sanctus Real is the Grammy-nominated Christian rock group responsible for creating distinctive worship music such as “Lead Me,” “Forgiven,” “Beautiful Day,” and “I’m not Alright.” Edgy rock band, Kutless, has produced popular hits since their debut album in 2002 including “Again,” “Sea of Faces,” and “All Alone.”
R&B vocalists Charlie Wilson and Chrisette Michele are recognized soulful artists scheduled to perform a double header in the 2012 Season. Former member of the Gap Band, Charlie Wilson is revered as a musical icon and has earned numerous accolades throughout his career. Popular solo recordings of Wilson’s are “Charlie Last Name Wilson,” “Uncle Charlie,” and “You Are.” Grammy award winning singer and songwriter, Chrisette Michele, earned her first Grammy in 2007 for the hit, “Be OK.” Other popular hits by Michele include “Epiphany,” and “I’m a Star.”
Free Gold Upgrade on 2012 Season Passes in October
The best way guests can catch all of the big names in entertainment and experience endless thrills is with a season pass. Now through October 31, 2011, guests can purchase a 2012 Gold Season Pass at the lowest price of $69.99 plus tax. In October, 2012 Pass purchasers receive all of the perks of a Gold Season Pass for free including free parking, miniature golf, go-karts, and discounts on food and merchandise. Wild Adventures is a 170-acre theme park, water park, and animal park all in one place for less located in Valdosta, Georgia.
