Barbara F. Patterson’s New picture book to be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit

Author Barbara F. Patterson teaches young readers a wonderful lesson as she pens her new book, Jenny. Made available through Xlibris, this vibrantly illustrated picture book will also be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY on November 2-5, 2011.

Jenny is a little girl who lives in a beautiful house with her mommy and daddy. Sometimes, her grandmother who loves her so much would also come to visit. During nighttime, her grandma would teach her household chores and read her bedtime stories. One night however, something new and small arrived at their house—it was even given a very pretty room and a bed. Will Jenny be able to accept the new baby of the family?

Packed with illustrations by author Barbara F. Patterson herself, Jenny is a children’s book that sends a message of love and acceptance to changes within the family. It also teaches young readers the virtues of helpfulness in household chores.
