The campaign is to be launched on the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook, whereby co-authors Marcus and Rob have pledged to donate £0.10 for every unique like or tweet of the book’s website WeGetNoticed.com. The target is to reach a total of 10,000 likes or tweets, so that a donation of £1,000 is made to the chosen charities.
Marcus and Rob have also agreed to donate 10% of all proceeds from the book to social and communication skills charities in the hope to impact of the lives of those who struggle with communication the most.
“It is our ultimate goal, through this book, to help as many people as possible to improve their ability to get noticed and to develop more meaningful relationships through an improved understanding of how to engage with others. People born with communication skill disabilities have an extra hard time connecting with others, which is why we want to support the great work of these charities.”
- Marcus Taylor, co-author of Get Noticed
