Development Dialogues announces three continuing education webinars which will focus on helping development officers and fundraisers with their major gifts and annual giving programs. These fall webinars will bring together prominent leaders in philanthropy to present topics to improve the skills of development professionals fundraising in health care, educational, and nonprofit institutions.

Webinar - What Makes A Good Major Gifts Officer?
This session will address what are the major characteristics that make a successful major gift officer. Find out how to “re-fresh” major gift officer style and close major gifts. This session will be lead by Maria Hargrave, of Palmetto Health Foundation, at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 27th.

Webinar - Year-End Major Gifts: Big Opportunities for 2011
This session will cover how Major Gifts are often made at the end of the calendar year. This Session explains the Major Gifts that Board Members, Capital Campaign Donors and other Major Gift Prospects often make to charitable organizations in the final two months of the year. The session will be lead by Winton Smith, JD, Estate and Charitable Gift Planning Attorney with Winton Smith and Associates, Memphis. This session will be held at 1:00 pm ET on November 3rd.

Webinar - Top Enhancements for Annual Giving Program for 2012
As people execute their year-end stewardship strategies and final appeals, it’s good to think about what improvements they can make for the next calendar (and fiscal!) year. This session will focus on enhancements to the annual giving program that organizations can focus for improvements in 2012. Chris Kasavich, MBA, of Baylor College of Medicine, Houston will lead this session on November 17th.
