Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) October 20, 2011
Capital Technology Management Hub, the leading networking organization for Technology Management professionals in the Washington DC metro area, is hosting the 3rd Annual Capital Technology Startup Challenge following last year’s successful audience participation format. For the challenge, a panel of judges comprised of business executives and venture capitalists will evaluate brief startup pitches with a list of specific criteria; however, a live audience ultimately choses the winners based on the best idea and business execution via real time text messaging.
The event takes place on November 8, 2011 at 6pm at the Mason Inn Conference Center at 4352 Mason Pond Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. Event registration and entry is free. There will be an hour of networking and refreshments prior to the competition at 7pm. Participants have a chance to present their business plan for 15 minutes during the event, then answer questions and receive feedback from the judges and audience. Undisclosed prizes will be awarded to competition winners.
If you are an entrepreneur with a startup or startup plan, CTMH invites you to enter the competition by submitting a one page executive summary by October 28th and a simplified business plan (no more than 4 pages) by November 4th to jimlockett(at)captechmanhub(dot)org. Startups that are currently operational will be given preference in judging.
