Xlibris, the print-on-demand self-publishing services provider, announced today the availability of AKTIYA: THE IGNITION SEQUENCE, by author J.S. Cooper. Available in online bookstores since November 20, 2010, this book introduces readers to Julien Storm, a clairvoyant teenager whose darkest vision leads readers into an engaging plot set in the not-so-distant future.

AKTIYA: THE IGNITION SEQUENCE introduces readers to Julien Storm, an adolescent with a jagged past and a reoccurring nightmare that is growing more intense by the hour. The year is 2056, and society, it seems, is in a spiraling state of decay. Heavy security, incinerators, and the curfew are standard in the major metropolises. Julien appears to be just another rebellious teenager, but beneath the surface, an enigma is unfolding in his mind. He was born with a gift, the innate ability to see things that other human beings cannot see.

Julien’s darkest vision, which comes in the form of a reoccurring nightmare, is getting stronger and more frequent by the hour. In a desperate attempt to shed some light on what’s happening to him, he seeks the help of a psychic, Evertine. Through hypnosis, Evertine experiences the power flowing through Julien; she sees how the Dark Vision will unfold in the young man’s life.

“Your life is to take a drastic turn, in the future. You . . . will be of vast importance to the human race, after a sudden cataclysm that has yet to come.”

What destiny awaits Julien? AKTIYA: THE IGNITION SEQUENCE tells all.

This book will be featured at the 2011 New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY, on November 2 to 5, 2011. For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to
