New 4850-PoE Electric Strike

The low current draw of the 4850-PoE as a completely new solenoid to work within Poe Environments and with Access Control Systems.

Reduce power supply size during every day installations

Trine Access Technology designed the 4850-PoE to work within PoE environments, automatic door installations, or Access Control Systems. This electric strike helps eliminate the need for an additional power supply for the strike or to reduce reduce its size for every day installations.

The 4850-PoE requires .260 mA (3.12 Watts) at 12DC, which meets the requirements for .300 mA systems or provides additional flexibility for .500mA and higher systems. The low current draw allows the use of smaller and less expensive power supplies when installing any access control system.

Just like Trines standard 4850 electric strike, the 4850-PoE provides four strike thicknesses (1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 7/8") by supplying two spacer plates. The patented 6-pin anchoring system provides the highest level of strength and stability for any surface mounted strike - making this the strike for rim panic devices.

A 24DC version that uses 0.135 mA will be available at the end of November, 2011.
